Pick Up the Job is a service of Velocity Group LLC. This policy explains how Pick Up the Job handles information from contractors, homeowners, and website visitors.

Information collected

We may collect business and account details, payment references, phone numbers, call metadata, text-message content, homeowner names and addresses, service requests, appointment information, and lead outcomes. Payment-card and bank details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Pick Up the Job.

How information is used

Information is used to operate missed-call recovery, complete intake, notify contractors, provide account support, process subscriptions, measure service performance, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Service providers

We use service providers including Twilio for calls and texts, Stripe for payments, Supabase for application data, and Vercel for hosting. These providers process information only as needed to support the service and under their own terms and security controls.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Homeowner information is shared with the contractor the homeowner contacted. Information may also be disclosed to service providers acting on our behalf, when required by law, or to protect people and the service.

Mobile information, text-messaging originator opt-in data, and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Retention

Lead, consent, and message records are retained while needed to provide the service, document consent, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Contractors may request deletion subject to required retention and legitimate business needs.

Choices

Text recipients may reply STOP to opt out. Account holders may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact page.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, tenant separation, and restricted administrative credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the revised date on this page.
