Pick Up the Job is a service of Velocity Group LLC. It sends service-related texts only after an individual expressly requests them, including by pressing 1 during the unanswered-call prompt or by initiating a text conversation. It also sends operational lead alerts to contractor team members who separately authorize those alerts.

Program description

Messages help a participating contractor respond to an inbound service request. They may request project type, service address, name, optional notes, and scheduling information. Contractor alerts may contain lead summaries and urgency notices. Messages are informational and are not promotional marketing.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with the conversation and business activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to stop messages from the sending number. Reply START to resume where supported. Reply HELP for help. Opting out may prevent completion of the automated intake. Support is also available through the contact page.

Urgencies

Text messaging is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, fire, gas, electrical hazards, or medical emergencies, contact emergency services.
